Punches and embosses in one motion.

The embossing leaf punches work best with paper. Cardstock is too thick for clean punching and even embossing. They work especially nice with 70# glossy paper. The edges cut easily and the veins come out nicely. It is recommended to use lighter weights, as well as punching once for the cut, keeping the paper in place then punching a second time to score the embossing detail (double punch). Specialty papers like metallics or pearlescents work nicely also. Depending on which side you punch, it is an embossed or debossed impression.
